  The produce here is not great. Just never seems as fresh as other places, and sometimes very pricey.

  I had written to the previous owner (Mr. Grenon) many times about the produce that was never up to par and way too expensive. I really thought that with the new owners this year, things would improve. My husband and I just stopped there (Sept 6 2017) and I just wanted a ready made salad. When I looked at them, most were marked down 50% and those that were not marked down were wilted and not worth buying. I chose to go to the deli to get a salad which is not what I really wanted to do. The young lady who was working the deli was alone so I had to wait a long time to get it. I told my husband that was it. I will not go to that grocery store again. I will go to Food Basic or drive to Orleans. It's really too bad. I did want to give the new owners the benefit of the doubt, but nothing has changed.

  Since head office decides what is kept in stock...popular items or items you've purchased in the past can disappear without warning

  Pretty standard Independent Grocery store. Prices are fairly 'Loblaws' compatible. Grenon's is always clean and well kept - except for the bathroom, they really need to do some work there.

  Great for quick shops and the monthly planned shopping.. Super bakery
